Never contacted
I've attempted to find contractors in my area for 5 different projects; I live in a large metropolitan area, so there's no shortage of contractors. I have sent messages to many companies and have never received even one response.

Not possible to describe projects
The removed the most important functionality for homeowners, the ability to type in a description for projects. I can't use the platform anymore. EDIT: you can add descriptions on a desktop browser, but this being missing on iOS forced me to stop using this service for over a year. Honestly I much prefer the app so unless they end the shenanigans of not including description on iOS it's as terrible useless app and, judging from other comments, seriously makes contractors jobs harder too.

Horrible company
I needed some electrical work done got someone to come by they didn't know how to fix it, they never refunded my money continued to send 3 more people all of which could not fix the problem, never received a refund. Also joined a membership they have no option to cancel on the app which opens up when you use your phone, once the membership renews you don't get a refund for cancelling. Customer service is terrible, this is a horrible company

No one ever showed up to do the yard work for $308.60 and when someone did show up they had no tools to do the work so they left and you had the audacity to charge my credit card. Angie, you are so upset. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will never have anything to do with Angie ever again. You can believe that. What a scam.

Disappointing app and poor service providers. I used this to hire a tree remover for a dead pin oak in my backyard. The individual came and gave me a quote then worked one day. They made a mess of my yard, ran into my fence, ran into my truck, demanded payment stating they would be done tomorrow & then never came back. Angi was no help at all. They ignored my inquiries and did nothing. I was out the $$ and had to pay another contractor all over again. Thanks for making me pay double Angi.

There were no reviews for two of the pros suggested. And the third pro, the reviews were old, nothing recent in 2020. I wouldn't hire anyone without any reviews listed. The reviews should more recent then four years old.
