It says free but…
It says free but if you want to listen to any books then you have to sign up and you have to pay per month to sign up this was just going to be a back up app in case the one I have doesn't have a book but know I can't use it.

This is the most buggy app I have ever encountered. Examples. If you click the app, the library is empty. You have to get your books through the website. I've signed in. Clicked 'remain signed in' etc. it just won't remember you. I had to Google the book I downloaded then follow the link that way. It keeps playing even if you press pause. I had to restart my phone to make it stop. If the books were e.g. 50% cheaper than Audible etc., it might be worth it, but they're not. Deleting.

Pros and some cons
Overall this has been a solid app. I use it in addition to audible because I like to have way too many books on rotation at any given time. I enjoy the perk of the VIP selection every month, as I can always find something of interest among these options that I would otherwise likely not have encountered. The cons of this app are that it does not carry all authors/books out there (though has most), and as others have noted..that titles are organized by tracks instead of chapters. The latter is an extremely frustrating quality, as it makes it very difficult to have a sense of how far into a book you are. There seem to be some decent deals available at any given time but I admittedly don't take advantage because I'm almost always only downloading books that I am specifically seeking out ahead of going to the app.

Overall the app itself was fine, it would be buggy at times and it was surprisingly expensive compared to some other apps I've tried.

The selection of books is decent. The skip forward/backward button does not work. The books are also organized by tracks instead of chapters like Audible. I canceled my membership and immediately lost access to the VIP books I received. I can understand losing access at the end of billing cycle. But, if I already paid for a month of membership benefits, I should at least have access to them for the full month. All in all, same price as Audible for way less selection, functionality, and value.

Great stuff. Glad I found this app. UPDATE 05/2024: To this day, I find the app to be extremely clunky. It's frustrating to use. There's no playlist management, whatsoever. The 'active listens' vs 'my library' is a waste of space, and not very functional. Worst off, if you find yourself on the main 'home page', which doesn't have any clear indicators or customization, and you press the back arrow, it will boot you from the app and bring you to your phone screen. Why? OVERHAUL the app PLEASE!
