Troubles
My previous experience is with the Libby app from my library. I have no problems with it. My experience with the Chirp app is not so smooth. Tonight I opened it to resume listening where I left off and the app started at the beginning of the book. This is not the first time that it didn't know where I was. Also it has tracks that do not correspond to chapters in the book. I purchased the Kindle version of the same book so I could read it sometimes. If I read a chapter I have difficulty finding where to start the Chirp version to continue the book.

My books keep randomly stopping. I use them to fall asleep, and that's not an option if I have to keep pressing play at random times. When it works, it's great!

Overall, the experience is pretty good. They provide access to heavily discounted audiobooks that sound great. As an app, though, it's not the best. The Android Audio experience is lackluster at best, [name] support and running through AnyAudio does not allow pause, skip, or rewind functionality, meaning you have to manually do those from the phone directly. It also plays in the background improperly, such as continuing to play while on a call or after disconnecting Bluetooth.

I was looking for free books to read and chirp looked interesting so I downloaded it but as soon as I'd sign in and stuff I have to get a membership to read books but in the bio it says no subscription required so why would they say that if there I have to pay

No Chapters :(
I've had Chirp for awhile and greatly enjoyed it. However, I regret purchasing the book we are going through for my team book club. I started the book in the library app, which allowed me to listen by chapter. However, we are not working through the book as quickly as I would personally complete it, and the library book had to be returned. When I purchased the book through Chirp, I found that the ‘Chapters' are tracks that relate to nothing obvious. They're definitely not the chapters. Unfortunately, I have no way to tell where I am in the book m, which makes it difficult to keep pace with the team.

Chirp is Great But App Could Be Better
I like Chirp, and they do offer some good deals on certain audiobooks. However, the biggest feature missing from the app is the ability to search for available audiobooks and play previews. Chirp could be made similar to the Google Play Books app which has both the search and play previews. You can still leave the purchase of audiobooks to be via the website, and hence avoiding the Apple 30% charge for allowing purchase inside the app. Unless, I'm missing something? Thanks

Good book. Horrible language
I really liked the story. It was easy to follow and I enjoyed listening. The language was horrible. I wish writers would try to use their words instead of taking the easy way out and simply cussing because they don't have the creativity to use better words so sad. I would have rated it 5 stars without the language.

CarPlay?
The app is fine; it does what you'd expect it to. I am baffled, however, that CarPlay support is missing. I listen to audiobooks on my commute and it's annoying to have to load up Chirp on my phone, rather than interact with it on my car screen. I'll be happy to update my rating when this finally makes it into the app.
