Used to be great but money ruins everything. Now I gotta pay to pretty much do anything. Plus, it shows old alerts when all I wanna know is what's happening LIVE around me. It used ti be way better interface and functionality. Citizen crashed out bad.

free app is now worthless
I used to have this free app on my phone & it was great. I deleted it because I needed the storage space. I just reinstalled it and realized that now the free version has been made completely worthless… You now need to buy the premium version for everything that used to be free… I just deleted it again. I won't be reinstalling

Waste of time and have to pay for everything!
I got a notification saying “missing dog, have you seen it?” I click on the notification and I can't even see the picture of the dog because I have to pay. I would recommend just looking up your city on facebook and join a free group on their way better anyway. 0 start citizen app creators do better

App used to cate about your safety and tell you where Sex offenders live in your area. Used to tell you what was going on when weapons were involved in your proximity. Then it seems they got on the mo ey hungry wagon and have to pay (what I would consider) quite the premium.

Citizen used to alert you of incidents in your area, give descriptions, and show you videos. I live in LA, so I like to know why there's a helicopter circling my neighborhood. All of those previously free features are now behind a paywall, and the free tier content is now largely useless. There are massively fewer alerts, and what is available has the description blurred out. You have to pay to be informed of the person with the knife or axe on your street now. (Again, not uncommon in LA.)
