App freezes at Splash Screen
I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling, closing all other apps, restarting the iPhone, etc. May want to have the developers lower the priority of data collection on customers. Start with no data collection & then incrementally increase with constant performance testing … if anyone knows how to do that anymore.

Buggy-Slow loading
I don't know what happen, the app use to be quick at loading to access the digital member ID(pre-2024) to show at the entrance and checkout. However, now it's taking over 10 second to just load before all the pop up ads and then lagging/buggy to get to the digital ID. I'm assuming when they introduce those “pop up ads” feature, it just became very buggy and slow. I notice this on home WiFi and my regular 5G connection. Annoying.

Based on Costco's responses to other complaints it seems they don't care about their technology. Sam's app is fantastic. My complaint is that app can't pick a location.

It won't update my zip code, it keeps bouncing back to Indiana ?? So I can't look for anything because it's all wrong. Please fix this.

App has always been terrible. This time nothing loads when searching for something or even clicking on subcategories.
