Privacy concerns
This app does not like Sign in with Apple when safari is turned off and cookies are blocked by private browsers. For that reason I have privacy concerns

Used to be subscribed to FT years back, but every time I make the mistake of considering coming back to it (this time digitally), I get a brain aneurysm when I get to their pricing. Much higher, in fact insane & beyond the pale. FT is good, but can never be *that* good to justify its price points. Geared to corporate accts & write-offs one supposes, but certainly not for regular me. Just know that this app is basically useless without a sub...almost all premium content.

Freezing
Lately the app is freezing. When click articles in the daily digest it opens the app and it freezes. Also, when tapping Menu it does not open

Needs auto-dark mode
Content is great. But though the app supports a fairly decent Dark Mode, it doesn't support turning it on and off automatically according to the device setting. This is frustrating, to say the least. (because it's been two years and this feature still hasn't been added, I've removed two stars.)

Two step verification not working
To login with my institution account I need two step verification, but once I leave the screen to approve duo check my sign in progress stops, and the cycle starts again. Hence I can never sign in on my mobile device. There are few silly apps have such problems but didn't expect FT is the same.

Buggy “app” that’s not really an app
This is a web app and filled with tons of bugs. You can read any article in the weekend edition for free by clicking on the article, paywall kicks in, press “back”'and then click the article again and it opens up for free. You can also listen to the entire article for free. I stopped paying for this app. They should build something native for iOS not clone their web experience which is pretty bad.

Buggy, freezes when displaying maps. Can't expand images easily and barely ever any new features. FT's quality journalism surely deserves a quality app too?
