Absolutely terrible app
The whole application looks like it was created twenty years ago and this corresponds to a lot of breakneck control. Just recording the progress in reading individual books is completely unnecessary for a few clicks. You can't add a Czech edition or the right cover yourself. And so we could go on. I absolutely do not understand the popularity of this horror. Thank goodness for StoryGraph.

Add the genre to the book details, PLEASE!!!
Love this app. Been using it for years. Has lots of recommendations and reviews. Easy to use. HOWEVER…. Unless a book is specifically on alist of books in a specific genre, I can't tell what the genre is. Please, PLEASE add the genre to the book details. Please create more search filters like books but black authors and books that won literary awards, etc. I end up going to lots of other places to try to find book recommendations but I should be able to get them here. Also, please add the reading level to the book details and create a search for it. My daughter is struggling to find books appropriate for her. You have them, but there is no easy way to search for them.

I still can't find many books. Can you simplify the process of adding और requesting books that aren't there already? Otherwise I'll have to find another platform after using it for more than 5 years.

Terrible app. 0% user friendly. The features it offers barely work. Setting the language to Spanish and having everything it shows you be in English is unfortunate having content and reviews in Spanish. And the ability to search for friends... Between how bad it's going and how hidden it is without comment.

At least they fixed it so we can finally see reviews but I really hate companies that force their app open when you try to go to the website but the app doesn't have any functionality. A book with 20,000 reviews there's no way to sort it on the app or organize it any way shape or form. First three pages of reviews are over 10 years old & may not be relevant. If you are going to force open the app when somebody goes to the website on their phone, it better have the same functions

Wow this app takes forever to load. It's a lot easier to open Goodreads on google instead. Unbelievable.

Got me back into reading
I love this app. I use it as way to look into books before I buy them to see what the general consensus is on them with ratings and reviews. I also love being able to keep up with my tbr and currently reading. And I absolutely love getting to keep up with my books progress. The only reason I don't give 5 stars, is there is no good way to DNF a book. I wish under the “I've finished the book” button, there was another “did not finish” option so I could remove a book from my currently reading, without saying I've finished it, and it being added to my reading goal book progress… but other than that, great app 👍🏻
