sometimes get an error message with program assistant, but other than that works

It asks you to provide access to my location in order to function. I don't know if it's anything else because I don't even give you access to ANYTHING and I've uninstalled the app. Why does it need the location to work? Without the app, setting up the dishwasher is cumbersome and leads to a deep hatred of Balay. I don't buy Balay brand or toothpicks again. With Bluetooth, the connection would occur directly without using the router, which is an access window to everything that connects to it

The application always works with my dryer with problems. Remote to Start is complete nonsense. There should be an update to the application. When I called the service and told them about my problems, they said to wait for the update.

With a lot of patience usually halfway usable
I fluctuate between 2 and 3 stars... Basically, such an app control only really makes sense in very few cases, I think. But if I have it, I want to use it. In our case, the dishwasher is connected to it. And sometimes it's really nice when you get home and can turn on the device on the way, so that the cutlery doesn't sit in the damp environment for hours and possibly start to rust. Unfortunately, Home Connect is not really reliable. Pairing a device seems to be a matter of luck - sometimes it works immediately, another time you have to try it 5x (although the pairing should theoretically only be necessary 1x). When paired, it always takes a (too long) moment until the device is found and you can turn it on. If you're unlucky, it doesn't work at all. And sometimes, e.g. after OS updates, the device is no longer paired at all and the gambling starts all over again. Recently after updating to iOS 17.5 the case again and I am seriously considering simply not using Home Connect anymore. The few cases where it would really make sense are not really worth the trouble.

The application fails miserably, it is exasperating and no, it is not that the signal does not arrive well as they respond to the same complaint over and over again, I can see the dishwasher connected to the router always, the problem is that the application does not find it or does not try to reconnect, in short, that it does not work well at all. Another example: two days ago (the device has been in the house for 4 years), having a good connection, when trying to use the program assistant it said that it had no connection with the device... Fuck you...

The app does not find the account and you have to log in again every day. Then it may take several minutes for the devices to appear. That used to be better. There was bungling at the expense of the customers
