Marked up prices - GARBAGE customer service
“Free” isn't free. Like DoorDash, Instacart marks up the price of the items you purchase. And don't bother picking substitutions, because the shoppers don't use them. The chat function is completely useless. After my order receipt was wrong, I logged into App's customer service to be told “just go pick up the wrong order and deal with it later.” HOT GARBAGE! I'm sorry [name], but get your own pickup service like Walmart and Kroger - I'll be shopping there until then.

I used Instacart today out of necessity, and because of free delivery on the first order. I chose priority delivery, but my order was still late, and was missing two items that were "out of stock". I allowed substitutions, but got nothing instead. Also, there is a service fee that is based on the number of items on your order. Ridiculous. Customers are paying for things they shouldn't be. I'll stick with Walmart+.

Instacart has been so helpful to me. Usually they are pretty good. But in the last couple of months some of the shoppers that shop the orders have not been the person that delivers it to my door. There have been several mistakes and they have left my products literally on the steps outside my apartment building. There are several shoppers that have been amazing. I wish there was a way to be able to request a shopper that has worked well with me. I am thankful for those people.

Nothing like someone or something promising s&!# and not coming thru!!! I was in the middle of approving replacements and then all of a sudden the Shopper dropped the order! I haven't eaten and need these things and now it's looking like tomorrow morning and as usual F%@#ed!!!! NO bother canceling bc as soon as they can take it, can they give it back!!!!!!!! Makes NO SENSE!!!!

Like app overall. But, very disappointed that I have not been able to use my REWARDS card for any of my orders. Even though the app invites me to put my in my card , it rejects it, stating that it cannot be found.
