Instacart Shopper: Earn money | unitQ Score

Not sure what's going on with the algorithm and this app but every single time I get notifications of batches and then when I look at the app, there's nothing there. I refresh it. I restart it. There's nothing there and then 30 minutes later the same batch pop up I don't get incentives, I've been a shopper for four years five stars and I can sit by the grocery store where there is a hotspot and see multiple shoppers going in and out and I can't get not one order. Your app is not friendly to long time shoppers with great reviews. Team really needs to fix this algorithm

I signed up last October and am still waiting to get off the waitlist! Absolutely crazy to me.

Delivery to zip code 44720 has been blocked for almost 2 months now, I know many people who have tried to inform customer service of this issue - to no avail :( you are losing a lot of business, please look into this. Order placing is fine until the end then it always says delivery time unavailable. Quite untrue as I'm also a shopper and haven't seen orders in the area since mid-March. I'm on the app daily & often have multiple deliveries in this zip code daily but haven't seen one. Several different posts on local groups (on Facebook & Nextdoor) have customers asking what is going before they sign up for a different delivery service. PLEASE FIX!

I instacart almost everyday as extra money. I've kept my rating high in almost a year of working as a shopper . Early this morning around 1:30am I tried to cash out, but I kept getting the message that something was wrong with my Instacart account. I got this message a few times so I contacted Instacart. And asked to have this resolved. They first lied and oh just something with your card. Then I called my my card company and found there's nothing wrong with my card or it's account. Then later, I was threatened by instacart representative that told me “I better cooperate or else I wasnt getting my money “ simply because I demanded answers . I have proof of all these interactions with the different representatives. Now a new representative tells me that she noticed all along it was instacarts fault. She gave me what I know now is a fake ticket number and said to check my email for communication with instacart. I checked there was no communication at all. Now a another representative tells me the problem is I cashed out to 5 times already. I only tried to cashout out money I made yesterday , one time. I've been threatened by the representatives and talked to disrespectfully . And as I soon I receive what I worked for I will be deleting this app. Yes you can make money, but the support for shoppers is ridiculous. They allow shoppers to be disrespected by both customers and representatives. A shopper can't even speak to someone over the phone about their account. You have to wait and struggle thru language barriers over a chat in the app. I pictures and luckily I have screenrecorded everything that was said to me and I can't wait to take this further .

How are you going to let a customer who requested leave order at the door… after a phone call to them to see how to get into the building ,speaking with them, and getting told I'm supposed to leave order in the lobby delivery drop off area. I take a picture and everything! Then you let them report that they never got the order!!! What's the point of taking pics in the app if I have to prove I delivered it! What sense does that make? And also no one should be allowed to rate you that didn't answer any messages but got mad when you had to substitute something

Been on the wait list for this app for i think more than 6 months not a single email relevant to getting hired or by your leave.

It will not send me a code to log into the app. Also, after chatting with customer service through the headset icon, it's gone. I called customer service and they said they were trained in that. Literally, no help. I would wish I could speak to someone in the US. I can't get support if the app doesn't send me a code to log into the app. No brainer. Update: There is no “app update” In order to update as you've suggested.

I feel like batch pay should be more. It's frustrating when you do all this hard work and you feel like you made some money but then you have to go put gas in your car so you really didn't actually make what you thought you did. Customers hardly tip well. We shouldn't have to rely on good tips to get by. Barbie pay needs to be increased…. I've seen orders pop up for 40+ items for $8 …. I'm sorry but even though they may not live far I am NOT spending an hour in the store shopping for all those items to make less than $10 it's ridiculous. Then I'm drained and barely made any money. Idk it's almost not even worth it. I love the idea of being able to pick up and work whenever you want and get paid the same day, but the pay needs to be worth it especially when having to put gas and the wear and tear on your vehicle.

Not worth it if you live in a city imo. It seems I have to drive around for at least 2 hours to be fortunate enough to get a “batch.” And most orders go for $5. With the economy and inflation the way it is these days, not to mention gas prices, it's not worth it just to get something within the $5-10 range after getting lucky in o get an order after an hour or so of either driving around or waiting in a parking lot for an order.
