Outrageous price increase!

50& Price Increase!! From €19.99 to €69.99. If you can't get your throat full, then you have to expect that users will look for another app. It's unbelievable what the developer allows himself here.

It’s ok

So when it was $6 I would of given it a 5 starts but now that I'm paying good chunk more for this I don't think it's worth it . I have been using this for a long time and it works pretty good but I do have some problems with it 1. It doesn't translate properly a lot and messes up conversation 2. The app integration with the keyboard is so annoying half the time it just doesn't load the words or it completely disappears from my keyboard (note this is with my iPhone 13 & 14 so it's not my phone) 3. The voice translation doesn't work that well sometimes it will just totally not work and stop recording half way in a conversation but when it is working I will admit it's very smooth and not very often it messes up just not easy to get it to do that. It's extremely annoying to constantly be closing the app and starting it again. And trying to fix it when I'm paying that much for this. If it remains at it low price sure it's worth it not now. I have other translating applications I can use that are same question for far cheaper . So I give it 3 stars it's not horrible but also not amazing .

Scam - billed us a weekly subscription we had to contest

No idea how they started the subscription on us, no way offered to end it, we even uninstalled the app and they are still billing us. We are contesting with apple and will be challenging with credit card as we never authorized the WEEKLY $5 bill from this app and don't know what it is supposed to be for. Do not allow this to install.

Was good, can't use it anymore

A while ago the app freely offered the ability to add a new keyboard that allowed you to translate whatever you just typed into any language. Incredibly useful, and a pretty cool feature that I would love to be standard with Apple. Then, they removed it for everyone, and now you had to pay for that feature. Alright, fine, I have no issue with that, company needs money somehow. Now years later, I open the app to translate something quickly without using Google translate, and it asks for a free trial, or pay a hundred bucks. The X in the top left is greyed out and doesn't work, and you cannot proceed without signing up. Screw that.

Literally downloaded because it was free to use

It was great before it started trying to make me sign up for the Pro edition with no way to bypass to continue using the free version.

Not reliable

It doesn't translate technical English words, only very basic language, words like 'omen' have no translation among many other words, I compare it to a translation book that had many pages torn out. Worthless most of the time.

Utter gibberish unfortunately

I used camera to translate text on a card from a friend about death of relative. Keen to read from Dutch to English. Results were comprehensively nonsensical. Subscription cancelled. App deleted.

No landscape mode

Does not have a landscape mode, which is the only way I wanted to use it. It also does not have Split View. I usually have my notes app open and want to translate things on the go, so if you want a translator on split screen or in landscape mode, this one isn't the way to go.
