This last mandatory upgrade took away the voice to text option. This was the easiest/safest way for me to text. How can the option be reinstalled?

Thanks a lot. You did an update and now the voice to text microphone icon is in the lower left and every time I touch it it takes me back to the home screen because that spot is dedicated to the back button. You guys need to fix this because the internet is flooded with frustrated users.
