Unresponsive, takes forever to load the arrival time for trains (if it ever loads to start), complete waste of time and space.

New update is TRASH
The MTA app used to be quick and easy to use and you're looking at the train schedule. Click a line, scroll to your station (listings were North to South) and the time table was there. Now there are so many extra steps, if you're trying make a fast decision, you might miss your chance. It's no longer user friendly. Extra steps that MIGHT be designed with the tourist in mind, but not the people who rely on it daily to get around the city.

App gets an F ++! It's not dependable & I get screwed all the time with inaccurate bus & train times so much that I stopped using the app! The train & bus service gets an F ++! App says 8 min & after waiting 8 min, nothing. Now, it's 45 min! Bus)) use a bike to get around. It's more accurate!

Hate this update. Can't track bus locations properly (let alone your map position to the bus), long loading times, & they even took out the little timer that counted the milliseconds as well. Its like an exceptionally worse version of Google Maps now. No thanks.

Since this app changed from My MTA to the new MTA app, the advice it has been giving me has been really weird travel plans and contradicts the MTA webpage's own advice. It also lacks a "fastest" option, and gives me only a "best" option which appears to be far from the actual "best." I do not trust this app.

Reason for all the bad reviews
So having used the new app for a few weeks, I have to say that most folks who think the new app is better don't understand how most people use the app. For subways, your average users wants to know when a train is coming. Often we're trying to figure out if we have to run for a train or not so we need the info with as few clicks as possible (while walking/running). Often we aren't using the same trains so we want to pick the subway line with the least amount of hassle (ie we don't want to type anything, we want to select among options). So problem 1 - your status page wastes one line for each subway line which then gives a useless status at the right which says “delayed” or “stops skipped”. WE DON'T CARE. Do you think the status telling us a station is skipped helps us? We need to click into the line to check which stop is skipped anyway. Do we care if something is delayed? Yes, but often that doesn't help us make a choice. I don't see the E line is “delayed” and think that I will take another line. It matters HOW delayed it is, which requires clicking in anyway. In other words, have all the lines on one screen without scrolling. Clicking the line should take us straight to picking our station which should lead straight to time of arrival. THAT'S IT. We shouldn't need to click “show route” to get to our station. Have superfluous “explore” and “trip planning” tabs in the back. And no, allowing us to favorite a line doesn't solve the above issues. Also, clicking into the line and displaying prominently which stops are being skipped is helpful. Notice how my suggestions are pretty much just the old app. I hope the MTA didn't waste millions of $$ on an app that's just straight worse.

Not An Improvement
Better My Butt. The Bus route freezes, is impossible to change direction, frwuently appears vertically and hard to read. All in all a hot mess without intuitive navigation. Old one was much better.

Revised MTA App
You have ruined what was a perfectly organized & easy to use app with this new one. It is a disaster! Get the old app back please so I may track MTA bus service.
