NETGEAR Nighthawk - WiFi App | unitQ Score

In retrospect, I really thought this thing would've been better, but not so much they keep trying to sell me some sort of extended security plan and overtime. It just kind of went downhill without it. So if you're planning on buying one of these plan on buying a monthly subscription just to make it work properly. They should just give them away with a plan.

Connection always dropping and the speed is inconsistent worst router I've ever purchased

This app drives me to drink. I don't know who ever thought this app was good enough to release. It never connects and you get stuck in this infinite loop of logging into the app. Repeatedly! Its never connected to my router and when I need to update, it becomes about a 30 minute process of logging in, getting timed out, logging in, getting timed out, etc etc. I'm tempted to get a new router so I never have to deal with this app again. Don't get Nighthawk!!

I'm wishing that I had purchased another make of router and I find it totally disrespectful that these no settings within this app for users firewall settings or anything else to modify our Nat type or anything else just like at website administrator login gateway portal considering that you are all pushing users to use apps to do everything and I have told support it doesn't mention anything about this anywhere access and I don't like this one little bit and in all of my years using this internet I've never ever experienced anything like the issues that I've experienced trying to access my own administrator login so I can make sure all of my settings are correct set up so much for purchasing a product that is meant to be for security purposes it doesn't say much for our safety I'm wishing I'd purchased an Asus router now that has far better options and I can't even use my satellite device because it keeps adding fraudulent information that doesn't even match my nighthawk router

No Expert Hiring

So far setup is ok. But I don't appreciate any product that installs software associated with a trial subscription or non-trial subscription without providing an obvious and easy way to decline. Thus having NETGEAR Armor setup with a 1 year sub that auto-renews does not make me happy.

Internet has failed poor conductivity, or error in the system. Ran a test with Nighthawk nothing
