Can’t search saved recipes
Recipes added to your ‘Recipe Box' can't be found by searching within your Recipe Box. They can still be found by searching in the main Search tab, but it makes saving them to the Recipe Box almost pointless.

Half the reason to subscribe to NYTimes
Not using NYTimes Cooking as often since recent “improvements” made the app user unfriendly. Ability removed, to copy and revise to my cooking specs, to reduce serving sizes, hence requiring ingredient list and prep adjustments. Was much easier to copy, paste to Notes app to cook from and make notes. Workarounds are possible but time consuming. Please return app to previous capability to justify my NYTimes subscription.

Notifications even when turned off
I turned in-app notifications off, but they still send them. Not an OS problem.
Android

The recipes are great, but the ability to casually browse is lacking. I want to be able to search by cuisine or course like most recipe sites.

Search option under filter
Should be an option in Filter to find Highest Rated.

Security hazard this app is
Damned app wants to vacuum up as much personal data as possible and will not work with normal Apple privacy protections in iOS active. App should be removed from App Store until it ceases being written to rip off personal data.

Auto Lock Screen
The app was great until they turned off the feature that kept your recipe open - I.e. disabled auto lock - while you were cooking. Needing to change my overall settings or open my phone every two minutes just stinks! Please bring back this feature!

Not Centered, Right Side Cutting Text
The one issue I have is that the words are being cut off on the right side of the page. This requires guessing what the word/words are that are cut off. The recipe text is not centered. Wider space on the left of text, no space on right. This is a new issue so do not understand why this is happening. Perhaps you made a recent update? Would attach photo but that option not offered here. Love the recipes, saving them, access etc. But please correct the above issue. Thanks

I regularly use recipes from the app and it is a great resource for new meal ideas. I didn't give it 5 stars because you must be online to use it. There is no offline option. I have preloaded pages to buy ingredients, but it always tries to connect and if I don't have a signal in the store the page refreshes to blank and says you need a signal to connect.
