This is the worst app it takes forever to open and it freezes Im always having to turn my phone off and back on for it to work lil faster

Clocking in and this app takes forever.

I would give less than one star if I could. My company has been using this for a few years now and it seems like as more time goes on the worse this app gets. First the app wasn't bad, maybe mediocre? Now it's constantly glitching and freezing on me upon initial login. It can sometimes take 5 minutes for the app to even log you in and even then after that it'll be frozen and won't let me clock in or out so I'll have to close it out wait another five minutes to try and log in for the same thing to happen. After a certain point it's easier for me to just have the admin clock me in, which is about 50% of my clock in/outs in a week. The app allows you to request time off, which is nice, but the amount of time off available that is displayed is wildly inaccurate. So with that being said you have to keep track of how much PTO you have left, not a big problem, but it's just another thing about it that could REALLY use some improvement.

This is the worst app I have ever used both on iPhone and iPad. Takes forever to load, often it won't load at all. Paychex is a pathetic company with pathetic employees Update. I came back here looking for a way to subtract more stars today but unfortunately there is no mechanism to give 0 or negative stars.

Paycheck stub availability push notification doesn't work anymore! Your paycheck stub available push notifications are SO DELAYED!!! This morning received June and July's and it's AUGUST!!!! You have two big issues/defects with your website for this service. Pulling up/refreshing the login page to type in username and password takes ~8-10 seconds since you changed the way the site cookie works. This, coupled with the additional delays in pulling up into once logged in adds a minute or so in regards to response and causes clock-in/clock-out issues. The website is just too slow due to the new scripting measures you implemented and it needs to be optimized. Used to be able to login and clock-in in less than 15 seconds, now it's WAY more than that, no matter how fast the user is. Ridiculous! Fix it! Also, on the Time & Attendance tab, when you have more than one shift in the same day (after lunch portion of the day and clocking out for the day), it takes the shift total and adds it to the today's total and obviously that's not right. This defect was introduced a few weeks ago during your last few update to the system. Clearly someone made a coding mistake! I know it's an error because if you go to another tab and then back to T&A, the today's total is correct then. This wasn't an issue before your most recent changes. Whomever has been working on the website to implement new things is braking basic functionality due to lack of experience. You need better coders. Today's total is always increasing, it doesn't need to add the shift total into it when you clock out, it was already inclusive of it! STOP constantly asking to reverify devices every couple of weeks!!! Both via app and on your website (which now absolutely drags trying to bring up the login page). It's not necessary for you to expire the verification cookie ALL THE TIME!!!!

I have NEVER written a review for an app before, I simply dont feel the need 90% of the time...alas, I am required to use this app for work. The mobile interface is so broken, it fails to allow me to log in 9 out of 10 times I try. 7 of 10 times that it does let me login, it fails to load any of the pages I typically need to interact with. To the point where it has consistently been a better use of my time to launch a mobile hotspot, find my laptop, boot it up, and log out using the online portal. By the time I do all of that, the mobile app is still frozen or failing to load even just the dashboard. Please fix your mobile app, paychex. Its absolute trash.

I can not say ANYTHING good about this app. I'd say it was a brick, but bricks are useful. This app might make things easier for people in the office working in payroll, but it is at the expense of the end user out in the field. Constant login and freezing issues. And the UI is so counterintuitive, it might as well be in a foreign language. The only training I've been able to find for this worthless app, is a PDF with some pictures and writing so small, it's barely legible on a phone screen. You know what doesn't crash or have log in issues? PAPER TIME CARDS!!! If I could take stars away from this app I would. There is absolutely no reason this steaming pile should be at 4.8 stars.

Glitchy, never logs in consistently. Probably one of the least consistent apps I've truly ever used. In need of serious technical analysts and support if they expect this to be a productive app.

Hasn't worked for last few updates. Have to access through browser which fortunately works.
