New owners ruined app
App no longer stores transactions for many of my accounts. Also stopped working with my very mainstream credit union for u.s. service members. And hasn't worked with TSP (the federal retirement account, and largest retirement organization in the U.S.) in months. They keep posting updated notices that they are “aware” of the issue, but never fix it. App used to show me my asset allocations. Now it generally can't even keep track of anything more than the balance in most of my retirement savings account — definitely has lost all sense of what my allocations are. For the accounts that I now have to enter the balance manually, the App doesn't even store the balance history! Most or all of these problems are new after the ownership change.

The app os hard to maneuver. Hard to set up. When you to link all your accts or you not able to set 401k up. Not comfortable linking accts

I've had it since Mint was cancelled and it's terrible. Major issues with bank accounts updating and missing transactions. No budgeting at all.

Crappy app
More times than not, I cannot get on and when I do, it takes a long time to log in. I don't have any problems with any of my other apps. Whoever is in charge of the upkeep, needs to do better.

DO NOT ISE THIS PLACE
I have been trying to get my money for almost a year!! I have paid thousands of dollars in fees and still do not have my money. I was told pay $105.00 and they would do a domestic wire transfer . I sent the money. Then another fee and another fee so here I am after about $700 in fees and now they want $1005.00 and say once again it's the final fee. I have literally paid thousands to get my money. I paid to have a bank check sent to me. I had to pay $3000 . What I got was a check made out to someone else and for far far less then what I should have gotten. I started a grievance they said it old take a month to finish it . It's been three months and nothing. I am so upset . I would never recommend Empower to anyone !!!!!!!

We switched from Mint. We miss Mint. For over a month, we have had a problem with credits/debits being recorded as the opposite type. This renders all budgeting functions useless. I've submitted 3 service requests, but have not received a response. Additionally, the app is horrible at learning how to categorize transactions. For example, even $20 venmo transactions and recurring internet bills are listed as "mortgage." If you're looking for a Mint alternative, keep looking.
