Online/mobile banking
Needs to be more options to search all payments to one direct debit or is there an option and I can't find it???? There seems to be easier and more options with other online banking. I really like the text message sent if you enter your overdraft.

I can't pay for various things as you want to send me a top unfortunately there is no mobile signal around my house you need to think about other ways to send it like email or landline.

I saw on my friends phone that the app changed and had a update but for my phone there is not update please fix

Using accounts
I do like the ease of using the Santander app for my online accounts but I do miss being able to see my upcoming money coming in and out to our current account, a facility I had with our previous bank account. I also had the facility to see our regular amount of monthly payments on a particular timeline. These tools are really useful for financial planning.

APP is absolutely shocking. It's a nightmare to login and when I have it won't show my balances/transfer money. It only does it when it feels like it

Constantly saying Oops something went wrong
The app has been really unreliable over the last 9 months or so. Struggle to access account and takes several attempts now usually to do anything.

Can’t pay credit card -Pointless
What good is an app that still requires you to use online banking to pay your credit card, whose balance and features are visible in the app? The app will tell you when the payment is due and how much is due, but doesn't allow you to pay it. And neither does the new version of the app, unless you have a Santander account to pay from!! Never seen anything like it on any mobile banking app, and I have several of them. What happened to being able to make a simple payment from a debit card to the Santander credit card? Very poor.

Room for improvement
o Branch locator exits the app and takes you to the website - branches shown do not give distance unless you ask for directions, then distance is in kilometres! If you change the selected branch the route defaults from central London regardless of the departure address you originally entered. o The reason I was looking for a branch was because I have a cheque I need to pay in. I tried using the method in the app, but it refuses to take a valid photo 99% of the time, then it demands to take a photo of the completely blank reverse of the cheque which also fails over and over again. When I finally got past these two stages the app asked me to verify the date, amount and account to credit, on confirmation it then announced that the photo wasn't good enough. Aaargh! I have a perfectly good scanner that I could use to make a photocopy of the cheque to submit, but the only method available is the apps own useless camera software that automatically takes the photo whether you're ready or not!

Before you start
We’ll send a One Time Passcode to the mobile number that’s registered to your account. 

Once that’s done, it takes just a few minutes to get started with Mobile Banking. 
1.	Open the app and enter your Online Banking log on details
2.	We’ll send you a One Time Passcode (OTP) by text message
3.	Enter the code into the app to register your device
4.	We’ll ask if you want to set up Touch ID or Face ID to log on 

And that’s it, you’re in. Be sure to allow ‘push notifications’ to get messages from us straight to your phone’s home screen.

Remember …

Never share a One Time Passcode (OTP) with another person. Not even a Santander employee.
Never download software or let anyone log on to your computer or devices remotely following or during a cold call.
Never enter your Online Banking details after clicking on a link in an email or text message.
