2SV Fails randomly. App fails to run with "something went wrong" randomly. Forced to disable 2SV and often having to call customer service to do so. Once you use this app you can NO LONGER login online through the website without the app, even if uninstalled or not working you must call customer service to revert to SMS verification.

I do not like the running total in the new update. It makes transactions look cluttered. I wish there was a setting to turn it off. The app also frequently glitches and won't allow me to sign in or make payments.

New to this app and already on several attempts to login, the loading wheel just keeps spinning and spinning... great start at a new bank... 👌

Recent issues
App started to never be able to load, wouldn't generate 2SV or whatever push notifications so I can't even log in on a browser. Incredibly frustrating that when I put in my login info, I'm just left with a loading screen for several seconds until it just says “error try again”.

This app is completely unusable for almost one week. Keep showing something is wrong, please try again later. Then showing Scotiabank Mobile banking is currently unavailable, we are trying to get it back, please try again later. Meanwhile, the same app on my iPhone is working without any issues. Why the big difference between Android and iOS for the same app? Totally unacceptable to treat mobile customers using different platforms. Please fix your android app ASAP.
