The game is cool, I like it, but the server works terribly, lags a lot

It's impossible to play, why doesn't it turn in time, other worms are as easy as mine die, save your nerves, don't download

Fix the damn spawn rate for the AI, they spawn too much and they get so overwhelming when I get to a big size. Also remove ads, they're too common, and it's a punishment for dying basically.

I wouldn't give this a one star, more like 2 stars, but I gave it a one star so people can see it in the “Sort by Most Critical”. So why do think this? Well simple, the game has fallen into it's “woke” period. (At least in my opinion) The game is just swarmed with bots, NPCS, inappropriate/sensitive usernames, and some lag here and there. This may just be me, but the game generally feels boring nowadays. Back when it was popular like 8-7 years ago, it was really fun. Even with other people using hacks, it sometimes made the game even more fun despite cheating. As of 2024, in the midst of games with clickbait ads, micro-transactions, cheap graphics, and repetitive/garbage gameplay, it's hard to say Slither.io is fun nowadays, and it's also hard to say it's immune to at least one of the issues of modern mobile games. If you read this and you still enjoy this game, I'm so happy for you, keep having fun with it! :) But for me, the game has just gotten worse and worse over the years to the point where I don't want to play it anymore. It hurts me to say since this was one of my favorite games to play as a kid. But now I'm almost 16 and I've realized how much the game has fallen in terms of how fun it is and it's overall quality. This was fun while it lasted, but there's no longer any enjoyment to be found here. Goodbye, Slither.io.

Gameplay can be laggy sometimes on mobile, so bad to the point where my game freezes and I have to completely close the game. And getting an ad every single time I die is so annoying, especially ads that you have to wait before you can click out of them. Other players don't load for me until they are right next to me.
