Test can be misleading
I live on an island. The Speedtest will test how fast speeds are to a nearby internet service provider on the island. This is quite a useless result because users connect to the rest of the world for most internet usage. At times it shows blazing fast speeds but you can't even connect to the BBC website or login to any social media site.
