The app is easy to use. The problem is the refund level of effort. I had many parking cancelations for the same night. The garage was full. You have to wait for the refunds. You have to prove you canceled. The application should have the ability to see if you had multiple bookings in the same night at the same time or within 30 mins. There was something going on with the parking.

Won't load on Moto G6. Loved it on a previous Moto. Update: moved on to another Samsung phone, been working fine for a while now. Great app when it works.

Non responsive customer service and poor directions on the app
Reserved a parking and could not locate the entrance. I sent 2 emails asking for help but no resonse. This is the worst experience I've ever experienced. Don't recommend

Meh app - horrible horrible service
Honestly just skip this and pay for parking. This is a nightmare to use or try and get a refund from. Whatever you do - don't make the mistake I made and say the refund is cool as credit. They will just steal that money.

Parking options for large cars
I have had a few bad experiences trying to use parking garages in New York City. Even when I pay a fee for a larger car upfront, I've had a parking garage demanding I'd pay 80 dollar extra upon arrival. And recently I've had a parking garage in NYC simply refusing me, even with reservation and extra fee being paid upfront. And both times it was very stressful to find new parking on the spot with an oversized car. And both parking garages are still part of spot hero. I have gotten my money back, but the stress is not worth it. So, apparently I need to find another way to book parking when I'm New York City. I wish you would give a warning on spot hero about these places!

Ridiculous cancelation policy they do not let you cancel or refund if you don't use it you loose your money / uninstall, use other apps

Bad experiences with this app
I appreciate the convenience but SpotHero frequently shows parking garages that are not available, inaccessible, or difficult for a customer to get to. On one occasion I parked in a garage at an apartment complex near Venice Beach, CA that had a steep narrow ramp going down. I was able to exit by taking an elevator up to ground level but once I went throught the door gates they locked behind me and there was no way to get back down. There was an intercom but no number for an office that you can call to be let in. The only way to get to your car is to walk down that steep ramp for vehicles. Because drivers can't see what is below them when driving down the ramp it's easy to hit a person trying to walk to their car. Because I was hit by a car as a child (and traumatized) walking down a steep car ramp was an unacceptable option. I canceled this reservation and requested my money back. A few weeks later I booked parking at a garage but the entrance gates were shut and locked when I arrived! I had to find parking elsewhere and only got a credit back. I am reluctant to use SpotHero now when parking locations are dangerous to access and sometimes inaccessible. Hope there are alternatives to this app that offer a less stressful parking experience.

Made my first reservation to park my car for a week in Manhattan, New York. The parking lot would not accept my reservation. That's not how reservations are supposed to work. Be careful trusting this app!
