Change the notes section back to how it was. It is such a small screen and starts at the bottom of the notes not at the last note added! Use the whole phone screen!

I've been using square for 8 years without any major issues. But now that $300 disappeared from my account, they can't see and don't wanna help. I'm incredibly upset. This isn't how you manage long term customers. Dropped 4 stars. Unbelievable.

Been using it for 5 plus years
Super super friendly and makes doing business very easy. Just disappointed that a lot of the features that were free for individual use all get charged separately now which drove the cost up drastically but still like the app.

Got the job done
I never made a website before and this was my first time. It was a little difficult to navigate, but I didn't give up and eventually figured it out. Also it doesn't have the option to let your guests leave you a review that I could find.

Wishing ratings and reviews were included without upgrading.
I wish my clients could at least write a review about their service after they check out Or had the option. But you need to pay to upgrade for that. It would greatly help.

Barely usable!
I got this so I can have an online appointment system for my mobile dog grooming instead of carrying around a big book. So far it's given me nothing but trouble. It won't allow me to fully set up payments because of my ABN. Refusing to associate with my type of business. And then won't let me check out an appointment if it's the day after. And it won't let me change the colours of the services. THEYRE ALL BLUE!?!?!? And it says I can “easily” set up discounts, well easy my bum I can't figure out how to do it and I'm a techie Gen Z. I have to create an item to create a discount, okay fair… oh but wait it adds more to the sale amount instead of being a discount item. Sure yeah alright. What the hell square!?

New updates sabotage the old
My business has been using this app for 5 1/2 years. For the most part it flows with the exception of their report generating system. I do my own payroll and rely on accurate numbers. On numerous occasions the feature that allows you to generate specific detailed reports for each staff sales is off causing extra work for me. I depend on this system to make things easier and it has done the opposite. Initially it worked amazingly and I was elated, however now I have to double check everything. I have reached out to cust service and 3 times a dead end was reached. They only communicate through email after a “ticket” is created which, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of customer service because it is 2 dimensional. Today I reached out again and the same approach was taken. Bouncing from one dept to the other. I am considering changing to another scheduling system. A real shame. Your beginning was stellar.

For a year, all freezes constantly
It deserves a zero. Just use the desktop version which almost never has issues. The app opens and freezes within 3 seconds. Occasionally, you can click on something before it freezes then it renders the app unusable. Closing and restarting doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work, closing your phone screen and reopening doesn't work. I've been attempting to use it for the company I work at for a year and every other employee is having the same issue with the app, but not the desktop version of Appointments. Also Appointments doesn't integrate/communicate in many ways with Square's other aspects and when features/debugs are requested, Square Appointments says they'll look into it and then never return your communications. Try doing a quick search and you'll see that simple feature requests have been asked by hundreds of customers for years (for instance the ability to mark an appointment as paid through invoice) and Appointments has not added them to the system after YEARS of requests. Kinda a bummer.
