Not understanding
I just really don't understand how to use it. This is why I don't have my check deposited there😕. It says I have money but I can't cash it out. So I don't know. Apps confusing

App is a scam every few days they have a stock party where you can claim free stock which disappears out of your account in a couple weeks with no change to profits. Would never recommend to anyone

My money is doing nothing and I can't sell or trade. It just gets to sit there and accrue fees so I can never pull out.

I had trouble closing my account until I called the number and spoke to a rep. I'm a newbie to investing so the whole process was frustrating. What I realized is they'd charged me $36 the previous year (2023) for a dormant account that had been paused. I'm an idiot and missed this purchase but received an email letting me know that I'd been charged $32 for 2024. At least they told me. And I guess you can say: shame on me. However, just the whole process of closing was a pain. I tried to figure it out on the app and kept hitting dead ends and then basically the same with emailing customer support. Also, I might've just kept my money in the IRA but now I have to pay the fine for taking it out early. If I knew more about investing maybe I could've transferred it or let it sit but it seemed like a situation where it was time to cut and run. Perhaps there are some other perks - like the debit card - but for me I lost money because I make a modest income and I'm better off to pay off my debt than invest. For me - 2 stars.

Intentional misleading billing
Stash added .05c to my account after liquidating to continue to charge me their monthly fee. That .05 got them another $60 in “maintenance fees” when asked they simply replied with your service agreement allows us to do that.

If only I could give negative stars
This company is a bunch of thieves and liars. They give you “free” stock, about 24 cents a month, and charge you a minimum of three dollars a month to do it. They double bill, as they will take the fee from your bank, then sell your stock without consent “to cover your fee”. I told them to put funds on my stash card, instead they closed my account and made my funds unavailable. The app says anytime you want to stop the cancellation of the account with 5 to 7 days, contact customer service. I did so 16 minutes after they closed it, and they said it was stuck in the closing process and they would escalate it. For 7 days I was told they would call me back in an hour, 24 hours,etc. Never heard back on any of the escalations. Called again and they said it was too late in the process to cancel. My options are to wait for a paper check (which I'm sure will never arrive) or transfer the funds (to an account that no longer valid). Use this app, kiss your money goodbye.

One major drawback about this brokerage is that when I put in the amount of money to sell, I had to wait a certain time frame, while the stock price go down, they finally sell, and my profits are lower than what I put in. If I put in the amount to sell, I EXPECT to get my amount. If this continues to happen, I will close this account after I file my taxes and go to another brokerage.

Deposited money and then after not login in for three days they closed my account and won't reopen it. What about my money?!
