This just jumped into an active app on my phone, without my installing it, or giving permission. Now runs constantly over my emails, msgs, etc. Essentially can't see my screen. And it will NOT Unistall, this is junk and a dangerous app, surprised Google allowed it...REALLY BAD. And this us a paid service. BEWARE

Impossible to cancel
It's impossible to cancel your subscription without phoning them. They charge you 29 for year 1 then email demanding 269 for year 2 and give you no other way to cancel. Outrageous

Offensive adverts, tabloid sensationalist content.
The Telegraph used to be associated with erudite journalism, now it is little more than a broadsheet tabloid. Lack of breadth of reporting, offensive “opinions”, poor content quality, intrusive to the degree of being offensive adverts with no way of eg stopping an in your face video. Avoid.

App might be ok, content not so good
If you want to hear things that you like then the telegraph is for you. I have to say the content ( for me) is all very strange… or certainly their take. I'm a conservative, but this paper is not for my taste. Just trying to find the cancel subscription button.

I took up on an offer for the puzzles last year but didn't register that (a) they add you to their full version of the paper FOC for the first year but then charge £269 for the following year, (b) put you on auto renewal, (c) don't advise you about this at any stage and (d) are a nightmare to get hold of to cancel and get a refund off. Personally I'd avoid them

Quite enjoy reading the Telegraph online. One annoying thing is that comments are not allowed on certain stories. A newspaper should be a champion of free speech, not limiting it.
