Scam all new customer base. Prompts by default forces you to automatically be charged when someone looks at your profile. If you don't pay, the profile becomes inactive and is not visible to the public. Within 10 hours of setting up the first part (of many) of my profile, to start using the app, I received 1 lead -> charged $68+ -> 0 profile views-> 0 messages

Pro here been on the app for three years started out great everyone was making money, pros and the thumbtack. But in the past year they have updated there prices, become very greedy, and there customer service is trash. My most recent lead was $140, with three other pros competing for it, I rejected the lead because it's out of my service area. Requested a refund and rejected twice. I'm filing complaint with better business bureau. Stay away it's not worth it. You will spend more then you make!

This platform is absolute trash and predatory for professionals. They autocharge you for leads that don't match because their demographic collection system is just too broad and doesn't cover relevant specifics. You're better off just running your own ads on FB/X/Whatever platform. This service is a new low. Wow.

Terrible app will not let me deactivate or delete my useless acxt. I do not feel like paying so much for every job. I can get better service anywhere else. Now let me delete my account

So far no enough projects. In the area. And I been already charged just because the client answered my but still don't have the job.

What are the prices based on? I get charged 116$ for ONE lead that were 4 professionals contacted Far from my area Which means that was a very high probability that I'm not the one to get the job And I still get charged And for a trade that's not even my area Just the costumer couldn't describe his need very well I not even had the choice to accept or not the lead

Kept charging for leads outside of my preference travel range

This company provides you with junk leads and charges your card automatically and they will not give you a refund, even if the lead is completely irrelevant to your expertise For example, I have a painting company we received a lead that we were charged $300 for the woman owns a mobile home in a trailer park and she put down that she has five rooms Her painting project was only $500 cost us $300 and Thumbtack would not approve the refund when we submitted the request We also tried to call their Customer Service to dig deep into it and explain the situation to them their automated voicemail system sent you to text message only and back to, and keeps running around into a circle of death I'll be submitting a claim with Better Business Bureau against this company there should be a class action lawsuit against them and I highly caution anyone from using this service ever

I can't even use the app. It gets to where I can add a profile picture then it just stops
