Was given the run around each time I asked about my free trip after 10 days. Only for them to leave me on hold for nearly an hour to be told I can't get it now. I will be back to update this review if they do not provide what was offered with more transparency on how this company runs and their customer service.

Don’t recommend
Turo will screw you on fees benefiting the lenders over the renters. The car had half a tank of gas and I gladly paid the replacement fuel fee and inconvenience fee but then they decided to add another $50+ gas fee. If you run just a little over the late fee hours (which is 2) they charge you for a whole day and add all the original charges you had when you originally booked such as coverage and gas fee.

Less convenient than renting a car through a reputable rental company and hosts can hide fees deep in the listing that don't align with the filters you've set for the cars you're choosing between. A trip I took allowed for over $100 in additional hidden fees on an otherwise $320 trip when I had explicitly filtered out delivery fees.

Worst Turo Trip Ever
Everything went well until I turned in the car and was falsely accused of damage. When I told the host I had high definition video before and after I drove the car and there was nothing to prove his accusation, he then proceeded to charge me a $150.00 cleaning violation. I had some good experiences with Turo, but also had another bad experience where the car I reserved was suddenly not available. A total bait and switch! I ended up not making my destination that night and having the Uber driver take me to a hotel. With both experiences there was zero customer service. Nothing. And I can't even cancel my account. I guess they are trying to do an IPO and it looks bad when lots of people cancel when they are having growth issues. The problem is that they are too reliant on their hosts and customers have no options when the host is a scammer. Stay away!

Turo sounds fine and dandy until they're not there when you need them and they refuse to cover the roadside assistance that they say they would cover. Would not recommend unless you have your own insurance to provide (most credit cards do not offer because this is considered a ride share not a car rental company)

BEWARE. Worst way to rent a car. You will get ripped off.
Turo used to be great. You could rent nice cars for a good price. Then they got greedy and shady and their customer service got horrible. They add on bogus fees that literally double the price of the car plus they still take 40% of the cost from the owner of the vehicle on top of the outrageous fees. It's a racket. Rent from Sixt if you want a nice car. You'll pay less than half the price and far superior service. Not worth renting your car out on Turo either. They keep most of the money and the customer service is horrible on both ends. A terrible company in every way. Don't waste your money. You'll regret it.

Automatic Acceptance
I am a rental company, the decision to make automatic acceptance mandatory and to charge a cancellation 25€ is for me incompatible with the particular model. So far it worked well, but with this mode it doesn't suit it, without me
