What’s happened?
This game has changed and it's not good. You don't get the bonus coins you used to. No daily coins from the clubs and you can see the action has much reduced. You get daily coins but you have to play 20 games for 25 coins. Hints are far too expensive now. Obviously to get us to buy coins. Been playing for years but don't think I will much longer. I can't afford to buy coins in the volume needed. Yes I know we can watch an advert but ….

Do not like that they have added words that are just plurals of other words. ..too lazy to come up with all new words? It was the reason I played this .not playing it now until they get rid of plural words.

Gone bad to the bone
I've played this game for 3-4 years and it became a welcome challenge despite some minor flaws. Recently the screen was updated, as apparently was the usage software. That was either an accidental or deliberate flaw. I have come to believe it's the latter; for what purpose? Only their team knows. The game changer? If you want to “buy” points for a letter it used to be straightforward. Click on “ buy a letter”, watch a short ad and collect 25 points. Now they've introduced a maddening screen that doesn't just introduce an ad, but will not let you out of the “ad”. Try clicking on “ad” screen again to exit and you're still in the same circle with no exit…over and over if you keep trying. The only out I've found is to power off my device and restart. And today that failed to work! I've enjoyed this game, but as it is now…I'm gone and looking for another challenge in the App Store. TB

Saddened by update
My beloved and I have been avid and regular players for over a year .. and we were fine with buying occasional &0.99 packages of stars to support the company — and to fund frequent “hints” when we got too tired to guess any more difficult words. Sadly, they've gotten greedy. Now they want us to ransom the stars we have “earned” in regular play each round by buying a means of opening a “full” piggy bank for about double the price and - this is the disgusting part - until we agree to do that, the coins we “earn” in regular play just bounce off the piggy bank into nothingness. By making this change, the developers have deprived themselves of the small but regular purchases we had been cheerfully making. This was NOT a good move to keep us playing; it has made us feel cheated. They also removed another strategic option - the ability to expose ANY missing letter (rather than only the first, second, an so on in series) for a 50% premium. That has “dumbed down” the game, unfortunately. Maybe they don't need our measly 99 cents a week. Still, I thought that about $50 per year would add up… We can still get enough stars in bonus play to keep on playing. But we're not giving the developers any more money.

I like the game BUT there are too many reminders,if l enjoy the game l don't need reminding .If l don't enjoy the game reminders want change my my mind, A reminder came up as l typed this.
