when creating an account I was sent to a broken menu which wanted me to verify my email, I tried multiple times each resulting in an invalid code. finally went to recreate my account to get the message that I had succeeded in making one, so either the menu isn't needed or it has the wrong message and doesn't send you to the next stage. otherwise OK app, but cost Canadians too much

Couldn’t enter info on my iPhone
Had to download to my iPad. The keyboard didn't display on my iPhone when I tried to update my password. Too bad the citizens of Canada got ripped off for the development of this POS.

I have a Nexus card and a passport and the app is very buggy using both The option really making an effort to work better for people with more than one form of international identification

Email takes too long to arrive
Used to be good but hiccough this time. Reset password (which I have to do each time even though entering correct one). Code Email takes so long I'm timed out, only way to get back in is request another code. Had to re register with another email address

Notice: iOS 12 is no longer supported by ArriveCAN.  If you are using an iOS 12 device, you can still access ArriveCAN through a web browser on your device: https://arrivecan.cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca/en/welcome

ArriveCAN still contains Advance CBSA Declaration, which allows you to answer customs and immigration questions up to 72 hours in advance of flying into Canada. It is currently available to international air travellers who enter Canada at selected airports.

By submitting your customs and immigration information in advance, you will spend less time at a primary inspection kiosk (PIK) or eGate when you arrive at the airport. This contributes to shorter line-ups in arrivals halls.

At the border, you will be prompted to scan your travel document at a primary inspection device and confirm your identity. Once your identity has been confirmed, your Advance CBSA Declaration will be retrieved from ArriveCAN for you to review and certify. If changes are required, you can edit and update your declaration prior to certification.

Use of the Advance CBSA Declaration feature of ArriveCAN is entirely optional.
