Something has changed with this App you cannot toggle back and forth to different channels, you have to actually leave and come back to change any channels

App performs well below expectations. I can watch the same live content on the channel individual site with no issues, but freezes consistently on direct tv app. It says when app is jammed up the video may not play. Well the app needs to make the performance better so it doesn't jam up all the time. To compete with You tube TV, it needs to make better performance

Local Sports Blackouts
I live approximately 900 miles north of Seattle and I can't watch sports from anywhere on the west coast of the lower 48 because I'm told they are subject to blackout.

Second stream pre-empted program being played
Had 10 minutes to go on a program that I had recorded on my DVR, and was watching through the app. All of a sudden my playback was replaced with a live TV channel but I didn't ask for. Tried to go back to my original playback, but program had reset to the beginning and cannot be fast forwarded back to the end. Not happy with the replacement

Does not support picture in picture on Android phone. Huge negative, as I can't multitask while watching. Setting changes on any instance, propagates to all other instances where the app is installed, forcing all family members to always touch the settings to suit their needs. In a streaming world, I expect better than this, DirecTV.
