No one home
Had a reservation- couldn't modify on the app. So I called and went through all the prompts to Speak with an agent only to be told that the system couldn't handle my request at this time and then it hung up. Cancelled the reservation and made a new one. Then I wanted to change cars but the system is unable to handle that request at this time even though there's a link to confirm or modify. So Avis- what's the issue? No one to speak to and your app isn't very good either? Not pleased.

Worst experience with modifying rental
I have tried everything to modify the return location. I've used the app—no can do. I've called customer service—only speaks Portuguese (I'm in Lisbon). I've called the US customer service. They can't modify it either. I even tried via the website! No can do there, either. In any event, I returned the car at 6:00 am here at the Lisbon Airport. I know I have customer service he'll waiting for me when I get home next week. Hey Avis. Give me a call if you want to try to salvage a 40 year customer. Qn9421

Doesn’t Remember Reservations
This app is virtually useless. It should remember all of my reservations such that I can reference them when I open the app. That is not the case. You have to remember their reservation numbers! that's a pretty big oversight in the development of this app. Your programmer/developer deserves a swift kick in the pants.

Prepaid and made a mistake!
Does not update the car details on the App, despite repeated attempts. Even though the customer service assured me two weeks before that my wizard number was added (after the reservation and payment), I realise at collection that it hasn't been added. And what more? There is no way to add it now either! The app is not able to use the reservation number and save the details either. This is way below par expectations from any car rental customer.

Not able to write down a location for search
When making a reservation a keyboard is not available to write a location. If it has it, I couldn't find the keyboard.

See if you can figure out where 'log out' is buried. Also, Avis sucks at timely updates to passwords. Wait 48 to 72 hours to log back in, what?
