I am trying to login into my new mobile phone but there seems to be no login option which is quite confusing, the only option I can see after downloading the app is “Register for the app” and “I'm New to Barclays”

awful
this app is genuinely horrible. cant change my phone number, cant transfer money, cant create new payees, cant verify my card because i cant CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER? constantly technical difficulties happening?

Unable to confirm only purchases
Terrible app for when you purchase anything online and it asked you to verify within the app. Most of the time the authorisation never appears. Speaking to someone through the help frustrating when they don't know their own app layout etc. The app is fine for basic payments but other than that, it's unusable for a business

Verification of identity useless
So I tried to verify my identity in order to enact a family member's power of attorney. The app worked fine until stage 4 where I had to book an appointment. This takes you to their automated telephone system which eventually takes you to a voice recognition section where upon it doesn't recognise anything about booking identity appointments and an endless an resolvable loop begins. I went into branch to solve this and the manager of the branch stated “oh no, that won't work it doesn't.” Bravo Barclays

App doesn’t work. No fixes available.
1 star only because 0 isn't a n option. After multiple contacts with customer services over many weeks and months, including multiple lengthy process of app deleting and re-registering, an IT “ticket” was finally raised with a promise someone would be in contact to resolve the issue. Nobody contacted me. After about 3 wks, contacted customer services (always polite and friendly) again who eventually relayed messages from IT that I should use online service instead and that this was a known issue and would only be addressed in next rollout of app, and to “manage” expectations of customer “ as this could be an indeterminate amount of time. Meanwhile I have no access to account details on the app, some of which aren't available on the web version. Useless. Literally a useless app for me.

Great Banking App
Has all the features you need and fantastic messaging service built in. One thing that is frustrating is that it doesn't update the balance when transferring money between accounts - you have to close it and go back in to see the balance update. It that gets sorted it will be spot on

Can’t add new payee
Hi for months now haven't been able to add new payees and this is headache to call n make transfer
