App doesn't work, website doesn't work. All pages either don't even load or say we are having technical difficulties right now. It's been like this for a month.

Forced to move to this app, now I can't see my usage, [handle] don't move people to a new app when you haven't even finished the app. I now have no way to see my daily usage. I'll be moving away from BG as soon as possible

Utter garbage and a massive backwards step. Received two emails today to say our gas and electricity were now on the new system. And now we have no way to view our usage and, the gas and electricity are now completely seperate, so even if the usage was showing there's no way to view your overall energy consumption. And the online version is the same.

The new BG energy app
I was converted to the new billing system this week with no notification. I was surprised when the old app suddenly lost it's ability to give me my current usage and how I was doing against the budget I had set for May. I got an email to tell me there was a new app, so I downloaded it. To my surprise a lot of functionality on the old app had disappeared 😡😡😡😡 We are constantly told to save energy and yet British Gas remove a tool to manage consumption. How can this be progress ????

New app is horrible The old app was much better. I've used the old app for many years and could clearly see my gas and electric bills now in this new app I've only got one bill and I have no idea if it's for my gas or electric bill. How do u expect anyone to be able to pay their bills on time. Is this a ploy so that you can charge late fees for none payments? I have been with British Gas for years and have never had any problems with them or in paying my bills untill now.

Useless app. Need the previous one back or at least everything it had put on to new app. I want to make payment b4 bill generated to help ease pressure when bill produced but no option to do so. I am not liking it at all, was not told about this new billing system until after I was transferred. I plan on changing supplier as I have not been impressed with BG since I transferred to them following collapse of previous company. Never had such hassle before

The new app is awful. The old app worked perfectly, showed my hourly, daily, weekly, monthly gas and electric usage and cost. The new app shows a bit of electricity usage but nothing for the gas. Won't even allow me to manually submit readings. My smart meter appears to be working fine, my home display is fine but the new app is a waste of time. I live chat them which is also useless no one gets back to you. I have, until now, been a loyal satisfied customer but getting very frustrated!!

If your account begins with a number, e.g. 85, don't worry, whilst this app will not work for you yet, you can still access your account online. You don’t need to do anything, we’ll let you know once you’ve moved to our new system and can start using this app.
