Ok app
The app kept disconnecting from the WiFi. The first time it happened I didn't realize it and I had thought that I reserved a table at the anytime dining but found out that I didn't. Luckily the maitrid'e helped me. Other than that it was ok.

Once we figured out the sequence to download the app, it was quite helpful. Would be nice not to be charged two months' worth of internet fees for an 8 day cruise. $200.00+ for just basic internet for 8 days is stupid. For as much money as we spent for this cruise the internet should be free.

I was impressed with the app, EXCEPT for the Carnival Chat option. That's why I give 4 stars. It took a very long time for messages to be deliver between our group, but we did receive important information in a timely manner. It was also nice to able to open the app and see all the activities on the ship, any given day

Worked…kind of
On the positive side - The app was great for looking at events and shows planned on the ship for the day. On the negative side - it constantly dropped from the wi-fi connection and the chat feature (that you had to pay $5 a person to use through the hub app) only worked for half of the group we had onboard that had paid for it.

Review
We cruised 04/27/24 I have loved this app since we started cruising carnival and it is a must to have. However a glitch this time around is my reason for a 4/5. The chat feature would not allow us to chat in a group chat, the messages would send but no one received them so we had to send individual messages which was a pain since we were a large party. I will add that I have never used the chat feature prior to this cruise. The time stamps were also off by 12 hours or so. We usually purchase the premium wifi plan and just use iMessage however others in r group didn't so this was r only way to communicate. Everyone found the app to crash multiple times which was frustrating when trying to check in for dinner. It would be nice if the app could tell you where the ship was like it does on the tv in your state room as well. Overall it's a great app, maybe we just were the unlucky ones this go around.

Great app except the text function
Overall s really simple and intuitive app but there needs to be more work put in to the text function side of things. Messages kept getting deleted and this was common amongst our group. Definitely needs to be fixed if you plan on charging $5 for it

The app was good the problem I had was it kept changing days on me so I had the wrong day of events.
