Please remove the offensive picture on the login page. It's such a shame that CIBC has gotten itself involved in driving an indoctrination agenda that destroys or errodes common sense and traditional family values. Ask yourself this question, "if the first two humans on earth were same sex, would there have been any generations birthed from them?" While the CIBC banking app is good and useful, the picture on the login page grieves my spirit everytime I have to login. For that I give 2 stars.

Useless
Shows mortgage account and thats great, but doesn't show anything but mortgage amount and payment amount. No details on interest or status at all. As a result, by the time i started inquiring into the details (since interest rates started climbing) the amount of interest exceeded my payments to the tune of 10k! Isnt one of the purported benefits of the app showing accounts the ability to scrutinize the activity in the account? Cibc branch says cibc doesn't have the ability to show details of mortgage account activity. B.S. if it was affecting their bottom line, make no mistake it would be rectified. Because the consumer is affected, and they are profiting from it, they don't care to fix the problem. As soon as rates come down a bit i will be saying goodbye to this horrible bank. I did file a complaint where i asked for some form of compensation because of the failure of cibc to provide me with details of my account transactions. I was denied. Oh! And now they have a hold on a cheque. Bank issued cheque and the funds were released to cibc feb 9th. (Confirmed by BMO). Feb 12th and they still haven't released the money they received already. Brutal. I know. Not related to the app but my displeasure for cibc, in general, now grows by the day

You guys literally barred me from using the app because I didn't want to update my UI, thanks.

Too many updates
I absolutely hate how you always have to update the app in order to use it. I think it's so stupid. Just keep the app the way it is there's no need to update it every few days. I hate how it doesn't work unless you updated because sometimes I'm not at home and it's really hard to get Internet connection to download the new update. What is the point having online banking if you literally can't access it smoothly

Wish it was possible to actually open my RRSP or TFSA without having to go to a physical branch or call in. Such a pain to get anything done with creating and managing registered tax savings accounts.
