Evernote - Notes Organizer - Latest Quality Issues
Android
May 10, 2024
The new layout is awful. Everything used to be so streamlined. All of my recently accessed notes came up first. Now I have to dig for them. The subscription pop ups are annoying. I get at least 3 before I even access one of my notes. $55-125 a year for a subscription. I understand they're a business and need to make money but how bout you lower that to $25 across the board. And roll back the updates! Fix bugs but leave the rest alone. It was working perfectly before.

New Interface deployed April 2024 is very Inefficient. You can find the orginial home screen hidden under "My Widgets" but I can't find anyway to set as default openning screen. Another issue is the constant updates. Bending spoons seems appropriate name for the application designer, take something that very functional and wreck it. The issue not only with the Android client but also the Windows client. Both client use to have snappy performance but not any more. Very disappointing.

After the last update, the app has become indescribably disgusting, the meanest thing is that sometimes the changes are not quietly saved. Moreover, earlier, before the update, everything was fine - and convenient, and reliable, and flew. The developers are just five points, keep it up, finish off all the good that is still left. (And they still constantly offer me to buy a paid version of THIS - yes, I'm already running)

I've been using Evernote for 10 years (paid version) and have always been satisfied. Now sorting by reminder date is no longer possible. I can't use Evernote like this anymore, too bad.

Everything is paid, you can't edit anything that has already been created earlier, you can't delete a note. Very badly spoiled

I have been using this app for 9 years (also paid option). Previously excellent, now became worse and worse. After changing to a new greedy owner, within a few months they dropped from 4.5* to 3.5* despite a million ratings. Each subsequent version is full of errors (tests passed on to users), slows down, jams and this the most rude marketing I have ever encountered. I advise against it.

Been using for years, now they only allow 10 free notes TOTAL, and that includes the notes you ALREADY have before they hide everything basic behind a paywall. 100% do not recommend.
