One star because the app connects to the photo frame. The rest is just terrible. Only 10 photos can be selected and uploaded at a time. To do this, you have to select all of them individually. Then there's the stupid demand for a caption and frame customization. The management of the images can only be done directly on site. An incorrect or duplicate image cannot be deleted. In this day and age, something better would be possible.

Receiving the pictures and videos is great. Sending more than 1 only allows a caption to be put on one of the batch.

This is easy to use because you can select directly from several folders, but it zooms in a lot. This means you have to edit each photo to include a border, if you want the entire photo uploaded, not just the middle part.

Need to be able to delete photos you’ve sent
I would love if there was a way to delete a photo after you sent it by mistake. I sent two of the same photos to my MIL (89 years old) and can't delete the extra photo for her😞

It's always the software... The software isn't great. You can't really do anything to the photos before sending them to the frame - can't resize them, can't rotate them, etc. You also can't add galleries - you're limited to uploading ten pictures at a time. On top of that - you HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME STEPS EVERY SINGLE TIME - need to be able to set an option to skip adding text - setting the best view shouldn't even be a thing, just scale the picture down to fit the frame.

I like it very much, but I was disappointed that it doesn't work, at least for a while, without power.

Possibilities limited
Also, with the new paid version, it is still not possible to delete photos from the frame remotely. The app only becomes really useful and a subscription is worth the money if you can really manage all the photos.

The user experience for this app is abysmal. I have 1300 photos to upload and the app let's me do 10 at a time. That's it. Software developers should be able to batch the job and upload all 1300, 10 at a time. Instead, Frameo spent their money on marketing and wasting their user's time. Even worse, the app is misprogrammed and every time you select 1 photo, the gallery scrolls up and down, making it difficult to quickly select photos. Overall awful experience with this currently 4.7 star app.

I don't like that I can not delete a photo from the frame only hide the photo.
