The service and the app are amazing!. Unless you need support. I wrote a review that I want to edit because it wasn't accurate. I tried everything including using the chatbot. It wasn't possible to use the chat. Instead of a chatbot, please just offer menus of what is possible and not possible. Otherwise reason s just have to do a lot of trial and error to figure out what works. Also, there is no point in pretending that someone is typing by delaying the chatbot. It just makes it slow

Inconsistent
The concept is good but the experience of these campsites is very hit or miss. Most of the sites I've stayed at thus far have been unkempt and inaccurate if comparing to the actual listing. I had belongings stolen at one campsite and stuck in the mud (with expensive towing required) at another which was designated as safe for two-wheel drive. I've reached out to customer support and found them to be less than helpful. Responsive, yes, but not actually willing to do anything to help. I don't feel they would help if anything more serious happened on a trip. I'm probably going to delete my account and this app after my current trip is done. Too much of a risk at the same cost or more as a state park site. App is continually opening into a browser and sending way too many emails/texts even with settings adjusted. Whole thing seems half-baked.

Mixed emotions
Pros: beautiful semi-secluded sites. Cows, clean and well maintained. The host responded quickly to questions. Cons: not enough bathrooms, no electric hook ups unless you bring at least a 100 ft extension cord. Sites are not numbered so it's a “get what you get” if the camp sites are full. Hard to find. Do not use the directions from hipcamp. Google Turkey Hollow campsite instead. Would recommend to families with children and pets, would not recommend for a couple looking for a complete peaceful reboot.

Good for hosts, bad for campers
This app connects campers with hosts. However it is biased towards the hosts. You have no support as a camper. And bad reviews are taken down, making the campsite/host look better than they are!

I tried reaching you people all day numerous times left messages to call me never got a phone call. I'm a senior citizen. Have a difficulty with computers. Made it very difficult for me. It's not user-friendly for seniors.

One night stay
It was a quiet spot but the view was less than expected. There is a lot of trash stacked around. A lot of old equipment not being used that is piled up. The man who oversees the place was nice and answered a lot of questions about the trees and farm which was nice. The bathroom was very clean except for the shower curtain. It was pretty dirty. Our spot was level but 3 spot was very angles so if you get that spot you might be at an angle while you sleep. It was an ok spot overall.

Apparently they don't allow negative reviews to be posted so I ended up in a place I would have rather not been at. I tried leaving an honest review to warn others and in hopes that the place would improve, well, it never posted
