Known Issue with Hotel Booking
As a long time user of Hopper with no complaints, I recently had a very dissatisfactory experience in hotel booking and dealing with Hopper's customer service support on phone call. There is a KNOWN ISSUE with the Hopper app that there are hundreds of hotel rooms that are labeled and priced incorrectly. My Hopper receipt showed the big room I wanted, while the hotel's system put me in a smaller room. After being placed off and on hold for 4+ hours with Hopper customer support at hotel check-in, reaching out via email and text for updates and receiving NO RESPONSE back in 3 days, and having to retell my issue multiple times to different Hopper representatives over the phone - Hopper was unable to fairly and accurately compensate me for this hassle and prolonged inconvenience. I will NO LONGER be using Hopper to book hotels in the foreseeable future due to this experience.

THEY WILL CHARGE YOU WAY MORE THAN THE PRICES IN THE APP AFTER YOU LEAVE THE HOTEL AND CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT YOU WILL SEE 2 EXTRA CHARGES PLUS WHAT YOU PAID IN FULL FOR THE ROOM... AND WILL TELL YOU ITS NOT THEIR FAULT AND THEY WILL BLAIM THE HOTEL YOU MADE A RESERVATION... YOU CALL THE HOTEL AND THEY WILL BLAME HOPPER... TELL YOU TO CALL HOPPER BECAUSE THE RESERVATION WAS MADE WITH THEM... THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT 20 DAYS ITS BEEN A MONTH

Worst International Travel Experience EVER
From the rental car debacle to the excessive charges for additional charges for my flight. I ended up renting a different car because the rental car company had me waiting over two hours and there were still two people ahead of me. I went to Hertz's. It took 10 minutes and it was cheaper than Hopper's price. We had to pay for our seats and our checked bag cost more than the price of the ticket. I would not recommend using this site for international travel. I thought I was saving money but ended up paying for everything twice.

Advertises low rates. Yet again like every other app I have tried. It has lied. Expedia has always came out on top. I check every site before committing to a trip. Expedia always wins 🤷♂️

I've used Hopper for years but I'm going to delete it due to wayyyyy too many pop up ads and notifications. I wanted to disable notifications on just the ads but there's no option to. It's either all notifications on or off. Well, easy fix... UNINSTALL.
