Charged the ticket, but the season ticket doesn't appear in the app. If the inspector happens to be there on the way, we'll see what happens.

UPDATED. And STILL gets stuck on its own!!.??? What's wrong?? The map cannot be added because it claims that HSL is not in use. Has been installed on a new phone at the beginning of the year and before that I used for YEARS! ONLY with mobile payment(which is cents more expensive!!) can be paid. It is not possible to buy 10 and 20 tickets, because when I start entering data, the click on the app will shut. Please correct!!!

App looks great but I can't buy tickets. I am expecting a verification code and it never arrives. I have uninstalled and re-installed and still no joy. Looks like the old fashioned paper tickets for me.

International visitor un-friendly app
Tried my Taiwan phone number and my USA phone number, either can receive SMS messages, not very helpful for visitors.

Very unstable, keeps crashing. App problems is liability for customer since traveling without ticket is 100€ fine.

Why is it always supposedly the customer's end fault if the application doesn't work? Once again, I had to reinstall the entire app because they remembered to take authorization reservations, but the ticket was nowhere to be seen. The app also won't show you when in one tab if you're not logged in.

With the HSL app you can buy tickets for Helsinki region public transport, find the best routes and get targeted traffic information. In the HSL app you will find e.g. single, day and season tickets for both adults and children. Bus, train, metro, tram and ferry – all with the same app. You can pay easily e.g. with a payment card. In addition to tickets, there is also a journey planner in the HSL app. Journey planner tells you e.g. the best route and the ticket, which is needed for the route. In the HSL app, you can also see up-to-date transport information for the areas and lines you have selected.
