this app barely works. it freezes, ignores input, has loading times internet explorer would be proud of and just all around barely functions. i get that they wanted a new version where they could add stuff (which wasn't possible with the highly optimised old version) but is it too much to ask to get the app at least to work? it's been a bit since that review and i must say the app significantly improved. i still like the look of the old version better but at least you can now play the game ^^

A game that gets your out and walking (or whichever way you travel). Prime update has made the UI hard to see (even with the slider). Make it solid colours instead of transparency effects and useless animations. Too many splash screens at the start.

Every update introduces a frustrating bug that will never get fixed, nobody will work on it, everyone at niantic tasked with ingress is instructed to only introduce meaningless features that will also frustrate you. Things will get worse for ingress, never better. I have changed my review from 2 stars to 1 now because there are more in game purchase buttons than playing the game buttons.

Xiaomi 13 Pro, Google Play shows compatibility with this game. The permission to enter the game is all given, and it also shows "The device does not support ingress"

The optional Adventure Sync feature integrates with HealthKit to credit your distance traveled Agent Stats, even when Ingress is in the background.

Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.
