Asks for permissions it doesn’t need to get a quote
They require exact location ALL the time, not just when in use. Then they require motion data. I understand this would be used for “driver tracking” but just to get a quote this is ridiculous. Deleted.

Bamboozled
Got bamboozled by this company. Did a quote with them through credit karma but before telling me the quote details they said I had to download the app. Since it was cheaper I did so. None of the quotes were actually cheaper. Infact the quotes were roughly 70% more. Total waste of time. I deleted my account. Enjoy my data you swindlers

Every time you open the app it needs an update. After updating you can't login & no one except chat to help. I do like the reminders & notifications.

Not Apples to Apples
The app is easy to use, but be very careful when drooling over your new “savings.” Most of the quotes will be basic coverage with huge deductibles and state minimum required protections. It showed me huge savings, but when I went back and edited the coverage to match what I currently have, the difference was only $20/year. Not even worth switching.

Couldn't even get me a quote from at least 1 provider. I have a clean driving record for 22 years with absolutely no issues. I guess that's not good enough for Jerry to get a quote.

It was not really helpful. it didn't give me any comparable quotes, and the one that it did give me was outrageously high. I feel like all they really want is your email, phone number, and for you to download.

My insurance policy was canceled over a month ago and I was never notified. I just now got a letter in the mail. I've never lapsed on insurance in my life and surely the price increase caused by my unknowingly being lapsed will cancel out any savings I got by using this app to sign up in the first place. Do NOT use this app!!!!!!!!!
