App good. Customer service bad.
The app itself is good - reliable, plenty of options and choice. Great. As far as an app goes it is certainly ok. Don't think I have had it crash etc so it's well built and the functions work. Bravo. The issue is with the business as a whole. Poor customer service when things goes wrong - haha what service. The idea of credit is terrible. I pay hard earned cash so refund me with my cash so I don't have to order with you again just to get something for what should be MY money. The restaurants are mostly alright. In fact my local ones are very very good. Although, I am yet to have an actual hot meal from anywhere on the app. This is more of an issue with the big names like KFC and McDonalds. Sometimes things will take an eternity to arrive - the app will say a time but really add another 1 to 2 hours. I have ordered at 6 before and been waiting at half 9 still. The food will almost always then arrive cold. So you go through the complaint process. Get told “based on the information you provided, compensation cannot be provided” if the food is cold, it's cold. What other information is there? Personally, I think Just Eat need to be vetting the places on its app. It needs to remove places if they are not up to scratch because it gives the company a bad look. That said, 99% of issues probably come from Just Eat sticking their finger in the pie and not the restaurant itself. Best thing you can do… Avoid the delivery apps. Go direct to the restaurant and have a much better take away experience (and a cheaper one) especially for the big chains like McDonalds and KFC. And… if you must order from here, get the microwave ready to heat your food on arrival. Also, if like me you are type 1 diabetic, don't bother taking any insulin until the food actually arrives. The time estimate they give is redundant and you will just end up in hospital from waiting if you try to base the insulin from what the delivery time should be. I will state though that I have had some good experiences but only when Just Eat have basically not been involved with the takeaways. Same restaurants but no Just Eat. Just Eat - not recommended!

Bad Service and Poor customer Support
I have ordered groceries through Just Eat from Asda and first of all I haven't received complete Items I ordered, There was 3 Items missing amounting more then 7GBP. Immediately knowing after that there's missing items I reported it on just eat and tried contacting driver but it says app error and the support from just eat i got is they saying we can't do anything and we have looked into it deeply. Never gonna use this app again.

The new system they use for customer service is absolutely atrocious. Waiting over 24hrs for response to a disaster of an order. I honestly didn't think this app could get any worse. I'd give this app 1/100 if I could. Would not recommend, will not be using it again. USE DELIVEROO OR UBER EATS IF YOU CAN!!!

Terrible if order not right will not fix
Spent £40 on a delivery that was not edible and did not send the food I payed for and so didn't eat. There customer service is non existent. So waste of money. And I still haven't been refunded for the food I never got. Scammers. A big company should not be scamming people it is wrong.
