I used to really like using mercari until they got rid of the seller fees and put them all on the buyer. Now you get charged several fees if you buy something unless you have enough money in your mercari balance from selling items, but even then it is only one less "service" fee. I also do not like that they "can't" change unfair ratings.

Cool app for buying and selling overal, but the fsct that they charge $2 to withdraw your money dorect deposit and the only other option is $3 for instant onto a debit card (which disnt accept my correct card details) is just bonkerz and has made me pull wvery item from my store. Will no longer be selling on this app.

The new fees are ridiculous and predatory. And then they add an additional bs fee just to make a purchase? No thanks, I'm gonna take my shopping elsewhere.

I am a seller and buyer. I used to love this app. However, these fees to my buyers have destroyed my business. The items are sitting there, and I am being low balled more than ever. Please, Mercari, go back to the way they were. I'll happily pay the seller fee so that my customers don't have to pay so many fees.

mercari is a fairly good platform as a buyer...if sellers are present,some good deals can be had...not sure feedback from a seller's view.only downsides are 1)as a buyer waiting for a seller to ship....TAKES forever to resolve..no many how many "points" of clarification are made.. 2)moderators can falsely accuse you of wrongdoing based on misinterpreted words from their view...so be careful on how you carry a conversation...other than that,a fairly good app to explore and use .

App has a lot of potential. Been on this app probably 5 years. The problems now are that the fees as a buyer are too high. Congrats on cutting down sellers' fees. You have now lost many buyers. There are also too many counterfeit items and fake accounts that do not get removed when reported. I will not be using this app to buy or sell any more until issues are fixed

App doesn't have much option to protect buyer, be aware that sellers will scam you and Mercari custoner support will be helpless when they already release payment to seller. After all, just switch to ebay or amazon is a good choice. Uninstall Mercari and forget Mercari...
