You can't exchange it for a gift card, and you can't use it at all on the free plan.

When the Allow Notifications screen appears, you will not be able to proceed to the next step even if you press the button, and you will not be able to use it even if you forcibly quit it.

You can't control notifications at all from the allow screen. Unless you enable notification permission in your phone's settings, you won't be allowed to use it, or garbage apps in the garbage. I can't use it, so I don't even want to give it 1 star.
