Error after update

Often falls out, slow to connect, lousy location indication, in short, a piece of software that is made "because we have to, but we don't want to". It's a bummer and has Oticon not my recommendation.

Null disconnects all the time I go back to the old One version

I don't write reviews. Seriously. That I'm taking time to write this review is indicative of my complete and utter frustration with Oticon Companion. This app is no companion. If I had a companion this unreliable, unstable, this untrustworthy, they would not be a companion much longer. My one-star rating is due to the fact that my hearing aids have been and are amazing. I didn't know just how much sound I was missing until I got them last September. But the app has been and is a disaster and I primarily use it with my iPhone 13 Pro. I've lost track of the countless times in a day since last September that I pair, reconnect, pair, reconnect. Over the past three or four months I found that I had to restart my phone then launch the app again. Each day I may have had to do that step three or four times. This week though I learned a new hack! Delete the app from my phone then download it again from the app store , then pair the hearing aids. That works for awhile, as in maybe four or five hours. Then seemingly for no reason at all, suddenly my hearing aids are disconnected and I have to begin the process all over again! Like others here who mention the cost of these hearing aids, they aren't cheap. Not by a long shot. A major selling point for me was the capability to, in addition to better hearing and not annoying people by constantly asking what did you say? I would be able to stream music, take calls, adjust my aids to the conditions around me. But all that requires a functional app. Oticon this situation is untenable, unreasonable, and unethical. Customer complaints here about the app appear to be of longstanding. It gives your company a bad name and damages your brand as more focused on sales than customer support. If this app is from a third party void the contract and find a company whose standards are of the same quality as your hearing aids. I cannot and will not in good conscience recommend Oticon hearing aids to anyone until this issue is resolved. If I had the option to return or trade in my hearing aids for a more reliable brand I would not hesitate.

You could read War and Peace cover to cover in the time it takes Oticon to connect. The customer service is NON EXISTENT.

The app , for me, works as expected- takes a little time to connect to the hearing aids but otherwise is just ok. Seems that the app could be more robust- directional hearing, equalizer for daily hearing etc.

After the last update of fw on hearing aids, the volume on Bluetooth is so low that the devices cannot be used with the phone...

Android doesn't have the flexibility of the apple. Cannot adjust background noise and other adjustments aren't present.

This app as it stands is really not fit for purpose. It rarely works with the phone making it very difficult to have a conversation with anyone short of using the speaker option then every one can hear my conversation. I have an experior 1 mk 4 phone.
