Needs to account for direct or indirect light as a separate setting from SITE light
Plants in a room with direct light but behind something (like a wall or some other object) and plans that get unobstructed direct light are at different light levels. There really should be a way to identify whether the light that exists in a site is obscured for a specific plant. Either that or they should have a light meter or light setting by plant

I would say not having all the blueberry plants is coating you a star. They dont tend to say much on soil. Neither plants that help drive pest away or other problems in the garden. The day when this app can be opened and help solve every issue in the garden will be awesome but they are far from it. This doesnt mean I canceled anything or uninstalled. I even spent the time and did my whole garden. Due to 95% of my garden isnt even on the app is aggravating. So 3 stars for now.

Accuracy not the best
I just got the app and subscribed for a year. The scan accuracy isn't the best compared to another app I've used. Hoping it gets better soon. Will update on other features later. Also the doesn't pick up the location rain

The top for "adult" plants
Great app, easy to navigate and understand, and the plants are doing great. However, I would have liked more functions to be available for cultivation. When you add plants to the ground outdoors, you get to choose when they were grown, but when I add my tomato plants, the app treats them as a full-grown plant. It would have been nice to have more growing tips! This is also very relevant now in the spring when many people are cultivating.

Not answering when asking questions
Good app, my flowers/plants feel much better and survive. Just a question I asked them about how do I update when I have changed the soil in all the plants on the same day. Important as nothing is right now chaos in the whole system as watering nutrition continues as usual with new soil and pots

Gorgeous but oblivious
The UI is nice and well thought out. But the app is oblivious to things like watering schedules for plants that are kept outside and exposed to rain. Or how indoor plants shouldn't be fertilized in winter. There are common methods of keeping plants that aren't supported at all, like the use of self watering pots. Planta doesn't know what to do with that. And it has no concept of using sphagnum moss or leca as substrate. For watering inside, the app doesn't seem to understand that indoor humidity levels have a lot to do with how frequently a plant needs to be watered. Simply integrating with HomeKit would offer humidity information for any home that has HomePod mini or other device with humidity sensor.

I'm giving it one star because it doesn't need location access (I should be able to enter a zip) and it requires a login which again is unnecessary. uninstalled.
