The 'deposit a cheque' function never works. Get constant error messages that appear immediately upon opening the camera. And recently, the error message open on top of each other repeatedly until they crash the app altogether. With branches closing across the country in favour of online and app banking, RBS needs to make sure they're online and app tools actually work for the customers

App support doesn’t take you to App support!
Just takes you to the RBS website. Biometric recognition is a pain. It doesn't work with more than one person - my wife and I have a joint account. If I set up biometrics then she can't use it. It's stupid. So we've switched it off. Just to make it worse somebody in their wisdom has decided to reduce the maximum payment without biometrics to £750 from £1000 (without asking us). So my wife can no longer pay our daughters student accommodation bill. I have to enable biometrics once a month to pay this then immediately switch it off again so my wife can make other payments. Untested software. No idea where to complain about it as all large companies these days don't actually want customer contact.

Really stupid and low effort app. Why can't I download statements? Why? Why? Why? Can't even highlight to copy stuff??? Why? The sign up process is stupid too. If you exit the app half way even just briefly you have to start over. 0 out of 10 experience. Also why is the bank address not on the statement?????????? Such a joke that RBS failed this spectacularly on these fundamental and simple tasks in a app. If this is the best you can do might as well not having an app.

Would give this bank no stars if a had the chance to ,15 years of banking and no issue and they then decided to close all my account with no reason to give me, this is shocking how they can go and do this, has messed everything up for me, all my dd everything, customer service useless called and the guy had no idea what he was doing asking why my account is closed and he was trying to put a loan through for me he could even speak English, losing loyal customers tbc

This software is mostly quite well set up. However when you are asked to authorise a card payment you are asked to go into the app to complete the authorisation, and when you do so you will find absolutely no way of doing so. On 3rd/4th May 2024 I have made four attempts to authorise the same payment and not one of them was successful. MESSAGE TO SOFTWARE TEAM LEADER: PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM SOON.

Unable to block delete notifications
I get notifications via the app and on my phone. However, I have 78 notifications unread in my app and can't “select all” and “delete selected”. Can you add this functionality please as I refuse to delete each one individually! Thanks in advance.

New bug as of today 09 may 2024, transactions showing misaligned with amounts. Rebooting phoned fixed it, which would suggest maybe a dependency was updated causing the problem

Important information for you
•	There is a maximum of 5 payments totalling £1000 per day. You must be aged 16 or over.
•	Get Cash - Withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours at our branded ATMs. You must have at least £10 available in your account and an active debit card (locked or unlocked).
•	Fingerprint and facial recognition are available on selected devices.
•	Credit score available once opted in through the app, to customers aged 18+, with a UK address and is provided by TransUnion.
•	Spending - You must be aged 16+. Only available for Personal and Premier Current accounts.
•	You can freeze and unfreeze MasterCard credit cards and debit cards. 
•	You can create one Travel Plan at a time, for a maximum period of 90 days, that include up to seven countries. Each country needs to be registered separately. The Travel Plan will apply to debit cards only, attached to accounts that are managed via mobile banking, and only in your name. Joint account holders should register separately.
•	Managing your receipts is available to Business Banking and Premier customers only.
•	Savings goal available on instant access savings accounts.
•	My Loyalty Cards is available to customers aged 18+.
