I've tried to use the updated version of the app and every time it opens, it asks for an 0TP. I confirm my mobile number and request it but it never arrives. It's been like this for about two weeks.

Well they've now implemented the new App and i'm sorry but although it's much more informative. I really dislike it. For me personally (i'm 75) the old App was perfect, smaller and easier to navigate but i suppose it needed to be more secure. So much for progress! Just hope they bring out the Quick Balance widget soon. It was the most used looked at part of my phone. Such a shame they couldn't leave well alone. It wasn't broken so why oh why try and fix it. Incredible in this day and age!

Could you guys please revert back to what the app was ASAP! It was much easier and pleasant to use. This is just an absolutely horrible user experience! Everything is all over the place. Not organised at all. Far too much white. And no option for the quick glance widget anymore. It's terrible!!

Like so many others, the new update is a mess. - I go into my app to sort out finances, not "choose a pretty background" - All of my accounts are no longer in the same order as the previous version or my online banking, with no way to reorder them - there's too much dead space - the handy banking widget is now gone - Animations are clunky and unnecessary - You can only see 7 transactions at a time - If the purpose of the pointless update was to make it look "pretty" over functional, you get 5*

this app has caused problems for me since the so called update ...not only does it log in and immediately log out sometimes it now has a habit of freezing on log in after entering my pin and all i can do is close down my phone ....and yes I've tried an uninstall and reinstall and it makes no difference ...my android phone is up to date and it isn't an old phone it's a really poor update

Before you start
We’ll send a One Time Passcode to the mobile number that’s registered to your account. 

Once that’s done, it takes just a few minutes to get started with Mobile Banking. 
1.	Open the app and enter your Online Banking log on details
2.	We’ll send you a One Time Passcode (OTP) by text message
3.	Enter the code into the app to register your device
4.	We’ll ask if you want to set up Touch ID or Face ID to log on 

And that’s it, you’re in. Be sure to allow ‘push notifications’ to get messages from us straight to your phone’s home screen.

Remember …

Never share a One Time Passcode (OTP) with another person. Not even a Santander employee.
Never download software or let anyone log on to your computer or devices remotely following or during a cold call.
Never enter your Online Banking details after clicking on a link in an email or text message.
