The matching system produced very odd results, often far outside my age parameters. Search filters required too high a level of subscription to get what I wanted. The user base is not significantly better than Grindr.

Stop the ads
I get it. The ads help pay to keep the app free but every time they check a message an ad has to play? Seriously? Once in 10 would be plenty, and to be honest still annoying. I will not pay your price for premium membership. It's like you want to be our pimp! There aren't enough features with premium to justify the amount you want. Period!

Sadly all it is these days is pop up after pop up for some spam website called backdoor and multiple pharma ads. Don't even bother as it ms now worthless.

It's the worst app I've ever used in my entire life and it wouldn't let me delete my profile, it's horrible, I don't recommend it to anyone, be careful, it's dangerous to get into these situations

Straight-acting
Problematic app promoting white masculine ideals, i.e. facial and body hair. Most Woof'd section is a veritable display of gay white privilege. My profile was suspended without warning on grounds of impersonation, while using my own words and photos. Who would want to impersonate a scruff-less Asian person on this app? They could have asked me to verify my identity but no, let's just ban an Asian person from equitable usage of this app.

Despite paying a lot of money for the (allegedly ad-free) premium version, there are still adverts for third party products, as well as non-stop ads for one of the developer's other products. The app suffers from trying to appeal to more than its original target demographic and, as such, no longer has a USP. It's no longer an app for gay and bisexual men, and it now seems to have lost its entire identity. I wonder if other apps are now doing it better? Shame, really. It used to be so much fun.
